MEYCO MCI 2006-1 

MEYCO MCI 2006 – 1 , is a powdered corrosion inhibiting grout additive, that is used in conjunction with standard cement grout. The product is supplied in convenient 100g packets, which provide an effective dose to 40kg of cement when used for grouting. The MEYCO MCI 2006 – 1 contains one of the most effective corrosion inhibiting components in use today. The additive does not affect compressive strength or bond strength of the final grout, but does provide a migratory field of corrosion protection to all the embedded steel. The inhibitor can actually migrate through the pores of the grout or concrete matrix to effectively cover all metal surfaces within the grout. This migratory effect provides additional corrosive protection in the event of movement within the grouted borehole.

MEYCO MCI 2006-1 is recommended for inclusion in all rock and cable bolt anchoring grouts. It is ideal for inclusion with all cementitious anchoring grouts where corrosion protection of steel or ferrous materials is desired. Thixotropic grout with MEYCO MCI 2006-1 would provide the ideal corrosion resistance to grouted split-sets.
